Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective date: June 4, 2026

Depending on your state, you may have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information. This page explains how to exercise those rights with The Disability Office. (We are a free, private referral service — not the Social Security Administration or any government agency.)

Opt out of sale/sharing

To opt out, email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and include the name, phone number, and email you used so we can locate and verify your request. Where required by law, we also honor a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out for the browser and device on which it is received.

Access, delete, or correct

To request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request” and the same identifying details. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Important note

Opting out here stops future sale/sharing by The Disability Office. If you have already submitted a request and a disability representative or partner has received your information, that organization is independent and uses your information under its own practices — you may also need to contact it directly (and reply STOP to its texts, or ask to be added to its do-not-call list) to stop its communications. To stop texts from us, reply STOP; to unsubscribe from emails, use the unsubscribe link.
